A Website with a Cart for a Café with a Cause

The Fitzgerald family had an idea for a café that would serve gourmet coffee, homemade baked goods and handcrafted Christian gifts – staffed by people with disabilities. Then COVID-19 happened. But they weren’t going to let a little thing like a global pandemic stop them. They decided to launch Brother André’s Café completely online. They just needed a website.

Using the Shopify platform, we built an e-commerce site that made it easy for the Brother André’s team to manage orders, change products and prices – even manage cookie subscriptions, securely and simply. We also added a portal to accept donations (and another one to accept prayers), so visitors can not only buy goods – they can do good as well.
