SEM Manager

Garrison Hughes is in search of an SEM Manager; you will have the opportunity to influence our digital strategy and thinking. We’re looking for a candidate who is eager to improve campaign performance against KPIs, using industry expertise to structure recommendations while actively seeking out optimizations to achieve goals. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and confident in making recommendations with supporting rationale to key clients. 

Requirements

  •  Develop and execute SEM campaigns within Google.
  • Ongoing management and optimizations of paid search campaigns, including bid optimization, ad extensions, and analyzing search query reports with conversions being the top tier goal. 
  • Effectively manage budgets throughout the month via pacing and spend reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Media Director on research, campaign creation, and optimization efforts.
  • Be the agency’s paid search subject matter expert.
  • Knowledge of google conversion tracking and optimizing toward conversions.
  • Ability to demonstrate active optimizations and implement previous campaign learnings.
  • Ability to write search ad copy with a quality score in mind.
  • Ability to develop and broaden keyword lists even with limited sector knowledge through research.
  • Baseline knowledge of paid media to best understand the other portions of the campaign, not to execute but to complement with search activity.
  • Financial sector knowledge and experience preferred

Additional Skills and Expertise (Preferred)

  • Pixel, tag, and event generation, implementation, and quality assurance to support digital advertising campaigns.

We’re looking for a candidate with 6+ years of experience, in proactive campaign management. excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail and budgets.
