Assistant Media Planner/Buyer

As an assistant media planner/buyer at Garrison Hughes, you will be part of an exciting agency and a fun group of people who take their work seriously. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the media activity on various clients and campaigns, as well as be involved in creating strategic and insightful plans. You will learn the foundations of integrated media planning theory with a particular focus on digital strategy and management. As part of a small, but growing agency, you will matter here. Requirements
In this role, you will report to our Associate Media Director and share in departmental responsibilities, including:

  • Implementing media strategies across digital, traditional and social platforms
  • Working with media team on development, negotiation, implementation, tracking, and optimization of media campaigns
  • Learning and mastering a variety of digital buying, trafficking, and reporting platforms
  • Contributing to the overall spend management function by processing invoices, identifying discrepancies, and working with vendors to resolve invoice issues
  • Creating client-facing digital reports for a variety of active campaigns
  • Developing POVs and media analyses to agency team and clients 
  • Meeting with media representatives to learn various media types and vendors

Besides requiring a person with boundless enthusiasm and passion for all things advertising, we also want a professional with a 4-year degree and 1-2 years of full-time or internship experience and excellent project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
